Polaris Ultraviolet Deactivator Filtration Systems utilize a natural quartz sleeve to protect the lightbulb and allow for maximum amount of UV rays to penetrate and deactivate the water. The Polaris UVA-12C Ultraviolet Deactivator Filtration System produces little change in water temperature even after prolonged periods of no water flow, making it ideal for whole house use or many other application requirements. This UV Water Treatment System may also be configured for TOC reduction in high purity or ultra pure water processes. This Ultraviolet Filtration System features audible ballast with LED ""Lamp Out"" indicator. Designed for easy servicing, no need to turn off water flow to change the UV lamp. The Polaris UVA-12C Ultraviolet System uses the Polaris GL39PP Replacement UV Bulb.

Set it and forget it!

This is my favorite filtration device. Install it and forget about it I don't have to worry about it for at least a year when it's time to replace the bulb.

Great for large scale fish ponds

I have this set up on my fish pond's filtration system. Helps keep my aquatic life healthy since I don't have to use any type of chemicals to treat the water. This UV light is practically maintenance-free. It runs all the time and I only need to change the bulb once a year.
